6900 S Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd, Salt Lake City, Utah
After returning from St. George and Green River, Milo lived in Salt Lake City for a few years before moving to Oxford, Idaho. During that time he helped build the Granite Paper Mill. The Granite Paper Mill was built in 1882 and operated until 1893. It was built near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon, about 3 miles from Milo’s home in Holladay. The mill initially produced paper for the Deseret News and then for other books and records. Most of the building is still standing today.
Here is an article from the Deseret News in 1882 that mentions Milo and the Granite Paper Mill:

Got something to say?
When I was little I lived on 70th South, just above the old mill, could see what was left of it from my front yard.
