Ruluf Andrus was Milo’s father. The building in the middle of the picture above is a hotel that Ruluf built and operated. It was also the boyhood home of Milo. It was located in Puckerbrush or East Norwalk, Ohio. This is the only known surviving picture of the hotel.

The large building in the front is the hotel which burned and is gone the building in the center is I believe the tavern which Ruluf ran which is still standing. I guess it helps to have been there! Laura
