Life History of Elizabeth Brooks

Ann Brooks mother, Elizabeth Brooks, became Milo’s sixth wife. Milo’s son Newton wrote in his journal, “Elizabeth Brooks was sealed to Milo Andrus, but did not live with him as a wife.”

Not much is known about Elizabeth. In the order of plural marriage, some men married older women merely to care for their temporal needs, and had no conjugal association with them.
